Bucyrus Rotary Club presents check to Bucyrus City School District

Representatives from the Bucyrus Rotary Club presented a check for $2,843.63 to the Bucyrus City School District at their Sept. 20 meeting. This is the first time the school has partnered with the Bucyrus Rotary Club. Bucyrus Rotarian Virginia Hammontree said, "We were able to raise a large sum of money for the club, while still giving back to our students and our community," The donation, which reflects monies raised at the club's annual fish fry, will go toward supporting the Bucyrus Backpack program and the Positive Behavior Supports (PBS) program.
